Randleman Reservoir
Randleman Reservoir was set to open for recreation in the fall of 2008. Both boat ramps are complete, and Southwest
Park is looking better by the day, unfortunately, this lake may not open until Spring of 2009 due to funding issues.
The good news is, I have paddled the northern part of the lake and it was GREAT! Tons of wildlife and "blackwater"
opportunities abound. Fishing looks good too.
Unbelievably, the opening of the lake has been postponed another year! At this point I don't want to believe anything,
but opening is set for May 2010.
